"Wedding Photo of the Week"

This week's photo is about getting down and dirty:) Too many brides are nervous to get even the smallest bit of dust on their dress. Fact of the matter is, no matter how hard you try, a white dress will ALWAYS get dirty! So don't let yourself get stressed out. Ladies we only get to wear our wedding dress once so why not make the most out of it. We warn every couple, before they book us, that we will be asking them to sit in a grassy field or sit on a sandy beach in order to create unique compositions and perspectives. Mother nature provide us with beautiful colors and texture, so get down and dirty! There are many way to make it appear like you're sitting on your dress when actually you're sitting on a towel or your petty coat. Remember it's a click of a button in the computer to remove a dirt spot.

Wedding Photo of the Week #1

Introducing our brand new "Wedding Photo of the Week" newsletter!! Every week we will be emailing a photo along with a short summary to help you learn what makes a great wedding photograph.
This week's photo is about contrast, not contrast in lighting and colors but contrast in the location and the subject that creates a unique shot. For this photograph we chose a location very different then the typical flowery, pretty landscape. This bride and groom had a very modern and contemporary style, so we decided to use an old World War II fort in New Castle, NH called Fort Stark. The concrete, rust stains, and stalagmites offered amazing color tones and textures. Using broken down warehouses , barns, etc with a beautiful subjects such as a bride and groom creates a one-of-a-kind photograph.
Hope this gives you some creative ideas,
